US Fire Service Responds To Ooni Of Ife's Sango Traditional Ceremony

The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, his wife Olori Wuraola visited the Smithsonian Museum of African Art, in Washington DC yesterday, June 21, 2016, with members of his entourage. The Sango worshipers in his entourage got the attention of people including the United States Fire Service when they performed a ritual that involved the use of fire and smoke. The Fire Service were alerted about the fire and responded to the scene immediately only for them to find the traditional ceremony taking place. The men of the fire service were said to have stayed to ensure no incident occurred.
