Poetic Corner With Victor Egbune..."Spaceship"

Someday; maybe one of this days,

i'm going to board a spaceship,

i'm going to leave the planet earth.

and when i do, please your tears do not shed,

because to where i go i already know...

Though the happiest days of my life it would be,

but deep inside the hollow chambers of my heart

i know i'm going to miss those beautiful memories 

we both shared,

those pretty smiles only your face could give,

the taste of your sweet strawberry lips,

and the way your hands caresses my body to sleep... 

all that and many more.

And even though i crash land on kolob,

that place of our pre-mortal existence,

there i would wait for you...

at our special spot; 

the shores of that crystal river where we parted 

with promises to meet again in the yet-life after.

come someday my love,

i will board a spaceship,

and i will leave this planet...

but that day is not today!
